December 2017

On December 14th, Boyles General Dentistry had its annual Christmas Party at the home of Dr. Russ and Frances Boyles. Everyone at the Christmas party was treated to the Junior League of Odessa's Annual Christmas Carriage Ride. This year our dental office had the honor of sponsoring a carriage. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Odessa Junior League and its outstanding community outreach. On behalf of everyone here at Boyles General Dentistry, We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

November 2017 

• Dr. Russ and Dr. Stephen Boyles both attended the West Texas Academy of General Dentistry continuing education class on November 17th, 2017. The class covered evidence-based prescribing procedures and was presented by Dr. Arthur Jeske. Dr. Jeske is a professor at UT School of Dentistry in Houston, TX. This class also covered the rise in opioid abuse and meets new requirements at the state level when prescribing controlled substances.

October 2017

• Dr. Russ Boyles attended the Minnesota Master track for the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Boyles attended and participated in 20 hours of hands-on lectures for fixed prosthodontics. Fixed prosthodontics covers both crowns and bridges. Dr. Boyles learned some great techniques that he plans on bringing back home with him to better serve his patients.
• Dr. Russ and Stephen Boyles both volunteered at the Texas Mission of Mercy at San Angelo, TX. Both dentists traveled down to represent the West Texas Academy of General Dentistry. Both were extremely proud to be able to serve the people of West Texas, especially since Dr. Stephen Boyles attended Angelo State University.
